AndreW JAMES PETERSON

Andrew James Peterson, ‘Buddy’, (also known as Drew to his friends) 20, of South Bend, IN passed away on December 18th from an accidental overdose in his home. 

Andrea and James Peterson were blessed to receive Andrew after his birth on November 1st 2002 in South Bend, IN, just 13 weeks before his sister Megan.

Andrew had so many gifts and was full of love.  He played soccer and baseball as he was growing up and ran cross country at John Glenn High School.  Andrew loved music. His laugh was contagious, and he would always be the first person to show up when someone needed him.  His love for friends, family, and animals was fierce, especially for his dog Bow, who you would find him petting or saying ‘I love you Bo-Bo’ to, whenever they were close.

Andrew is so deeply grieved, and survived by his parents, Andrea & Jim Peterson, his sister, Megan Peterson, his trusty dog and best friend, Bow. Grandfather Jim Peterson Jr, Jan & Jack Hofferth (Nana & Papa), Grandparents-Dean and Becky Harter, Amy & Gary Strong (Aunt and Uncle), Adam Harter and Linda Kruszka (Uncle)  Aunt Kara Kaser and Uncle Tony Kaser ,and many other family, friends and biological siblings Gabriel White, Bethany White, Mariah White, Noah White, Alice Newman, Anna Newman, Grace Wiest, Luke Rodriguez.

Funeral services for Andrew will be held at 11am on Thursday December 22 at the North Liberty Church of Christ 66225 IN-23, North Liberty.  Visitation for Andrew will be held from 4pm-7pm on Wednesday December 21 at the Palmer Funeral Home-North Liberty Chapel; 202 North Main St. North Liberty.  Visitation will also be held from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Thursday in the church.
